Sometimes I wonder if I’m mentally disabled, and I’m the only one who’s not in on the secret. Do you ever wonder that?

There are times where I’m walking along with literally nothing in my head but “lalalalala! lalalala! la! la!” Nope, nothing even remotely musical. Just la.

These last couple of weeks have been full of FRUSTRATIONS. And elations. lalalala.

Went to the dentist today

And received a new toothbrush! It’s green, which is my favorite color.

edit: NO, WAIT. That is NOT all.

I’m feeling quite disgruntled about the fact that I brush/floss just as much as my sister does (if not more often), and our diets are very similar, but I’ve had about 20 fillings done since I was 5 or 6, and she JUST got her first cavity!!

And I have three new cavities I need to have filled on Wednesday!

And the dentist said that my old fillings will wear down with time and that saliva and bacteria will enter my teeth around the worn-down bits and that I will probably get more cavities in the future! Meaning new occurrence of cavities is inevitable! No matter how hard I try to prevent them!

And yes, all those exclamation marks are justified

Sigh.. oh well, at least I came home with my new green toothbrush~

I wish I could go back in time.

I wish I could still be in high school, but with the brains and the valuable life experience I’ve acquired over the last three years.

I wish I could teleport to kiss my boyfriend good night.

I wish money didn’t have that terrible quality of turning good people into the spawn of Satan.

I wish I had enough time and resources to be able to keep my dog.

I wish I had a stomach that worked kind of like Mary Poppins’ carpetbag – bottomless, but able to hide its contents perfectly.

Maybe I should turn these impossible wishes into practical thoughts! Like..

I hope:

I hope to use the brains and valuable life experiences I’ve acquired in the past three years to reflect upon my time in high school and see the mistakes I made back then but at the same time treasure those past events that shaped me into the person I am today.

I hope to make my relationship with Ian work so that in one month’s time when I return to Boston I will be able to kiss him good night and good morning.

I hope to become a good, successful vet so that profit will be the fruit of my good works, not the other way around.

I hope to put enough time and resources into finding a good home for Chewie.

And the last one is hopeless, I think… there is no way to compromise wanting to eat forever and my stomach not having the capacity to accommodate such large volumes of food :[
